Q3 qualifying | The Stewards received a protest from AT&T Williams alleging that during Q3 qualifying practice session, car 2 Lewis Hamilton unnecessarily impeded Car 10 Nico Hulkenberg at turns 16, 17 and 18. |
Having viewed video evidence and telemetry data from Car 10 and also having heard an explanation from the team manager and technical director of AT&T Williams, the Stewards are of the view that car 10 was not impeded and therefore reject the protest. |
